Did you know you have up to 5 years to make a claim from damage your association may have sustained during a hurricane? As association (HOA) board members and business owners most of us do not understand stand the extent of our insurance policies and what to do to after a storm or damage. Look at it like this, would you trust someone to fix your car if they were not an expert or did not know what they were doing? How would you know that they did a good job?
